Amen!

ἀμήν [amēn]- from hebrew meaning to believe, faithful, or true.
definition - a) surely, truly b) it is so, so be it

Often we speak this word without its substance, either from ignorance or indifference. We might as well say "The End. Sure glad that's over." And we do, really. But this is such a powerful word, and an even more powerful concept. When God says Amen He's saying "It Is and Shall Be So", and when we say amen in response we're saying "Yes, Lord, let it be so, and it is." Be concious and remindful when using this word to assent with the faith we hold true.

Mark 11:24 - Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. amen.
